Meet the Nyambane's

Pastor Charles Nyambane

God has a unique sense of humour. He calls people into His service from various backgrounds regardless sex, race, walk of life, or ethnicity. His goal is to proclaim the message of salvation to every nation, tribe, language and people. And this message will be preached in the whole world as a testimony before He comes.

I am married to Rebecca and together we have 3 grown up children, Cris, Ezra and Joy. 

Before accepting the call to pastoral ministry, I had served the government of Kenya in the capacity of an Agricultural Officer, Research Department, for 10 years, 1981-1991. In 1991, I had an ardent conviction to join pastoral ministry. I was admitted at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton for the training as a minister of the gospel. Due to lack of finances, in the middle of the training, I dropped out and fortunately was picked by the Western Kenya Field, Eldoret, now the Greater Rift Valley Conference. I was deployed to serve a district of 5 churches, where I worked for 2 years (1993-1995). 

A door of opportunity opened up and I was admitted at Newbold College to finish my Undergraduate and Masters programme. I finished in 2003 after which I started looking for employment with either North England Conference or South England Conference. Meanwhile, I served as a church elder in Maranatha Hayes and Beckton Maranatha. In 2010, I was asked to serve as Lay Pastor at Reading West where I served for 6 years (up to 2016). 

In 2016, I was asked by South England Conference to serve as a non-stipendiary minister serving Angaza Reading and Maranatha Hayes under Pastor Samuel Ngui. In 2018, I was picked up by SEC to serve in fulltime ministry at Southend-on-Sea and Grays Chestnut, where I served for 4 years. I was transferred to my current station supporting Stonebridge, Emmanuel and Acton Churches.

I am enjoying working with members of my district. My passion is in Evangelism and Pastoral Care.
