Children's Ministry

The ministries of this church are the life blood of this church.  You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life.  Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group we want for you to find a  place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Make sure you check out the ministry opportunities we have to offer!

Children's Ministry

We believe that our children are our future, so here at Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, we follow the Biblical principle of "training a child in the way he should go." We have several ministries that are available for your children to participate in and we invite you to feel free to join any of these!

OBJECTIVE:To provide spiritual growth for children and to coordinate and work together with the other leaders to provide for an overall plan and budget for a wholesome program of Children’s Ministries for the church family.

This ministry concerns itself with the needs of the children, sets and coordinates the various children’s programs and ministries of the church. It sets the schedules for fundraisers as well as the Bible learning curriculum of the different children’s divisions in the church. This ministry makes children aware that they are valued as part of the church and as such helps train and prepare them for young discipleship and church functions.

Sabbath School

Our church caters for children each week by providing Sabbath school classes for several age groups:

●    Teens (ages 10-15)
●    Primary (ages 6-9)
●    Kindergarten (ages 3-5)
●    Beginners (for parents with infants 0-2 yrs)

The weekly children Sabbath school (Bible study) classes each week contain songs, crafts, quizzes, games and Bible stories.

Children are invited to join their parents/guardians during the church service where there will be a children's story for them.
