Sabbath School Ministry
The ministries of this church are the life blood of this church. You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life. Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group we want for you to find a place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Make sure you check out the ministry opportunities we have to offer!

Sabbath School
Ministry
The Sabbath School Department functions as the primary religious education system of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and it has four primary purposes: study of the Scripture, fellowship, community outreach, and world mission emphasis.
“The Sabbath School is an important branch of the missionary work, not only because it gives to young and old a knowledge of God’s word, but because it awakens in them a love for its sacred truths, and a desire to study them for themselves; above all, it teaches them to regulate their lives by its holy teachings.”-Counsels on Sabbath School Work, pp. 10, 11
“The Sabbath School, if rightly conducted, is one of God’s great instrumentalities to bring souls to acknowledge of the truth.” Counsels on Sabbath Work, p. 115.
As well as adult Sabbath School classes, Emmanuel Community Seventh-Day Adventist Church welcome children from each age group for an hour of active learning geared to their stage of faith development. These classes provide faith-shaping experiences for newborns through adolescents.
