Services
Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.
While redemption and restoration can only be accomplished through the atoning work of Christ, the work of caring for souls in our communities is accomplished through the Holy Spirit’s gifting and directing believers in relationships with one another
Community Service intends to restore in man the moral image of God by caring for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3: 16-18
